No bullsh*t platform for barbers. Built by a barber.
We built Barbercita in New York with one job: stop the platform tax, protect the barber–client relationship, and put more money back in the shop.
“I was tired of watching barbers pay premium prices to be listed next to competitors in their own booking flow. That’s backwards. So we built Barbercita: your own app in the app stores, your own client list, and the features shops expect from B**ksy, The C*t and Sq**re — without the paywall nonsense.”
— Shawn M, founder and barber
Directory apps reward whoever pays to jump the line. If you’re closed, off, hurt or half-dead on the couch, your client gets pushed to the next paid barber. Barbercita doesn’t have a directory to push them to.
Barbers shouldn’t fund platforms built by people who never worked a chair.
Your clients, not a listing
Clients book you in your own app with your name and logo on it. No marketplace, no rival shops one swipe away.
One plan. $35/mo.
Every feature on one price, every barber included. No tier that hides the good stuff. The only paid add-on is the Business Line.
You decide who pays card fees
Set how much of the card fee your clients cover with the fee sliders, so you don’t raise every price to hide it.
Chair-first
If it doesn’t help a real shop on a real Saturday, it doesn’t ship. The shop floor sets the roadmap, not a boardroom.
Ways to earn with Barbercita.
Refer shops
Affiliates start at 20% of every monthly plan they bring in, for as long as the shop stays: $7 a month per shop on the $35 plan.
Build a team
Partners get a top rate from Barbercita, set each affiliate’s rate under it, and keep the difference on every renewal.
In-shop ads
Partners sell local ads that play in shops, and the shop gets a cut of every monthly renewal.
